Right now the website is still underconstruction. This site is dedicated to the memory of my friend, the late Wesley Willis. It represents the visual art that Wes produced before and throughout his music career. I began collecting Wes’ art in the late 1980’s and continued until shortly before his death. Over the years I got to know Wes fairly well. His story is beyond my abilities to convey. He was a wonder to watch. I hope that his fans enjoy these works and that knowledge of his creative talent stays alive. Wes has returned to us. He has returned as a baby. I saw him, third eye and all. He is a fat little white boy this time.

My friend Wesley Willis.
I never knew anyone who put such a unique magic into the lives of so many different kinds of people. He was loved by so many. I thought of him a couple of years ago as the "crazy" manifestation of the Budha. To say that he touched my life in a profound and wonderful way would be a gross understatement. If there is a God, his presence surely was in Wesley Willis. I'll think of those times long ago when we worked together in my shop in Chicago. That was a joy ride.

So long, Wes.
